Victory Day in Moscow

Is a holiday that commemorates the surrender of Nazi Germany in 1945, and the WW2 ending.

On this day it is customary to congratulate war veterans, to lay flowers at war memorials. Traditionally, many young people take part in the holiday. Concerts are held in the parks and squares.
